Scraped a 1-1 to the mighty Astana.

There is usually only one other team worth playing in Scotland, and they are in the process of rebuilding. If they want to be in the PL they would have to gain entry via promotions.

Besides, we don't want these sectarian CUNTS in our leagues.

Celtic and to lesser extent Rangers would never agree to moving the English league.

They can't risk not having the guaranteed champ league every year.

Agreed....get Dembele , Tierney and Armstrong. Probably get the lot for what we wasted on Ayew

Should be all in for Dembele quite like sviatchenko as well, Tierney at leftback is a star in the making too. Might as well get Rodgers as well, was up there for the barcalona game, Celtic were decent.

"It is going to be difficult for Celtic to be in the English pyramid system because of the sheer scale of the club. Most of our games are packed out now.'

Or: 'we are much too grand to have to actually earn a place in the PL and in any case we get huge crowds of glory-hunting mongs watching us whack Hamilton Academicals every week and can't take the risk of not being as good as we think we are'

I think that just about sums it up.

We should go balls out for dembele, €25 million, he'd be our number 9 for 10 years if a bigger club didn't come knocking.

Dembele is too good for Celtic. He really looks the business now. Tottenham must be kicking themselves for not going ahead with that deal they had with Fulham.
Young Macgregor of Celtic also looks as if he could easily step up to the PL.

I watched it as it was the only match and it wasn't bad for commitment. I'm sure that without the massive support they'd get both sides would struggle in the championship for quality.

Scottish football meh!

Nice one. Nobody wants to see or hear about football supporters not making home.

RIP all those lost today.

Genuinely very sad news about the crash of the bus and the death of a Ranger's supporter.

RIP to the football supporter.

Don't recall him saying it at Reading, or even Liverpool.

As much as some of you will hate to admit it, but he's bang on the money there.

Brendan Rodgers says he understands why the English Football League has closed the door on any notion of the Scottish champions joining their set up.
The Celtic boss spoke after his side's 3-3 Champions League draw with Premier League leaders Manchester City.
"There's no doubt Celtic are a major threat to nearly every English club," said the former Liverpool boss.
The EFL announced last week that no Scottish clubs would be invited into any expanded set up in the future.
"If Celtic were in England, they would be in the top four/top six clubs there," said Rodgers.
"If you are another club playing in that league or Championship, or League One, would you want that type of threat coming in? I don't think you'd want it and that's the reality.
"It is going to be difficult for Celtic to be in the English pyramid system because of the sheer scale of the club. Most of our games are packed out now.
"Can you imagine Celtic with that resource? Then it can go as far as it wants then. It would be frightening prospect but an exciting prospect."

Celticfans are cunts. Nearly got arrested after my little girl got knocked over in a pre-season friendly. But there is one overlying reason why I hate the cunts and that is they sing that fucking song that the Scouse Cunts sing, so second only to the scousers as absolute cunts

Most Scots don't like the English it's not just Celtic. I think it's a jealousy thing.
